Transforming communities and improving lives is a continual goal in our work, and it can only be accomplished by carefully balancing all of our clients’ considerations. It’s why we collaborate at every turn, why we constantly ask ourselves if there’s a more impactful approach we can take, and why harmony is an achievement we intentionally pursue in all of our designs. We work within site, code, and budget constraints to bring projectsto life, including village and shopping centers, corporate offices, healthcare, and municipal spaces. From multi-family and mixed-use to collegiate housing and hospitality, we create places where people want to be. Planning & Urban DesignMaking places by solving spaces.

We bring a modern perspective to the preservation, maintenance, and transformation of old commercial buildings. Municipal expertise to guide projects through a wide variety of local entitlement requirements for rezoning and administrative site review.

Where design is logical, humanistic, and beautiful

We navigate project complexities and find the efficiencies to design beautiful, locally-inspired places that are as feasible for clients to build as they are tailored for the unique needs of residents. Our team has designed hundreds of multi-family, mixed use, retail and hospitality projects throughout the southeast and beyond. Many of our projects have won design awards for their innovation and contribution to the local community. The places we create for our clients, the culture we build for our firm, and the lives we improve in the process are all interconnected — not just by what we design but by everything we do together.

At Cline Design visually imagining a place is an essential part of the design process and is recorded in the form of sketches and computer models. We have planners that are knowledgeable of architectural requirements and architects that are knowledgeable about planning requirements. Together they are constantly imagining the places and buildings. We visualize the place in 3-D, sketch and play with these 3-D ideas until we have a two- dimensional Master Plan.

We have adopted a multi-disciplined approach that is central to our practice. Our clients enjoy an added value through the integration of planning, architecture, landscape architecture, and interior design. The coordination between design specialties allows for seamless service in the various aspects of a project. We have found that this ultimately leads to projects moving more quickly and smoothly, thus improving the client’s experience and the success of the project.

There are several actions that could trigger this block including submitting a certain word or phrase, a SQL command or malformed data. Whether you’re joining us as a client or a colleague, we’ve usually got something great on the calendar. Like our work, our culture is built to excite, inspire and engage.

Because MyLife only collects this data and does not create it, we cannot fully guarantee its accuracy. The conditions, the codes, thevision — they’re all waiting to be interpreted in a way thatcreates the ideal outcome for developers, residents, communities, and the environment. For our team, solvingthe puzzle means truly loving the challenge and having theexperience to move as thoughtfully as we do quickly. What our clients give to their communities. What happens when form becomes a feeling — and our designs achieve something genuinely human.

From the organizations we support, to the technologies we embrace and the projects we deliver, we’re always chasing a better future state. No matter the project – residential, mixed-use, workplace, commercial or renovation and reuse – each space designed is with the client’s specific goals in mind. Our studios collaborate to provide a cohesive and elevated professional perspective, so no two buildings are alike, and every experience excites.

When Lassiter arrives to claim the town, he finds all the town buildings dynamited, and the townsfolk leave to start new lives elsewhere, as many of them have done before. Trying to start a new life after Alice's death, Jonathan moves to Sleepy Eye and buys a freight business. Jonathan helps Andy resolve his feeling that Mary and Adam are to blame for his mother's death.

As a result, he has to travel away from home to find work and make some money, and meets up with Jack (Don Knight) and Jacob. Jack has a job as a powder monkey in a quarry, and enables Charles and Jacob to get work there too, where the hard and dangerous work is well paid. Meanwhile, with the men away, Caroline organizes the local wives and children to salvage what they can of the wheat, using only their manual labour.

However, Laura persuades him to stay, and he works on the farm with Almanzo and sobers up. But after more bad news, Mr. Edwards ends up in church where he prays and talks to Rev. Alden, who brings about a reconciliation with Charles. Laura and Almanzo's daughter Rose is baptized and Mr. Edwards becomes her godfather. Soon, Albert and the others find football is not so much fun, and when Ellerbee's single-mindedness endangers Albert's well-being, Charles has to step in. Albert then decides that his priority is his studies and that for him football should be for fun. Pete grudgingly resigns to making football practice less severe, after nearly destroying his marriage and family life. Picking up where the previous season left off, the Ingalls family moves to Winoka, where Mary teaches at a new blind school established by Adam Kendall. Charles takes a maintenance job at a hotel owned by a despotic local businessman, Miles Standish (Leon Charles).

Charles and Albert go on a delivery run for Jonathan Garvey, and they travel with the Cooper family (parents Alvin and Sarah, 11-year-old James and 8-year-old Cassandra) who are on their way to join Alvin's Uncle Jed on a gold claim. Encountering a steep hill, Charles and Albert (with James and Cassandra in the back of their wagon) descend safely, but Alvin loses control of his wagon which overturns, killing him and Sarah instantly. When the children's Uncle Jed (E. J. André) tells Charles he is too old to take care of them, Charles feels he has a responsibility to find a new home for them.

Laura is tricked into adopting a "unique" billy goat, named Fred, but he quickly becomes unpopular when he helps himself to the Ingalls family's crops and exhibits a particularly unpopular behaviour. Laura is instructed to get rid of her new pet, but that proves to be difficult. Charles and the girls go on a camping trip, with Caroline planning to join them later.

She has accepted her condition and is ready to go on with her new life with Adam in Winoka. Laura goes to Sleepy Eye to help Mary and Adam get the new blind school ready. However, Almanzo takes a second job so that he can secretly pay the shortfall of rent for the blind school, persuading Houston the caretaker to tell Laura that the landlord has reduced the rent. Some of the episodes written by Michael Landon were recycled storylines from ones that he had written for Bonanza. Interior shots were filmed at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles, while exteriors were largely filmed at the nearby Big Sky Ranch in Simi Valley, where the town of Walnut Grove had been constructed. Many other filming locations were also used during the course of the series, including Old Tucson Studios and Sonora, California. Many of the exterior shots of Walnut Grove and the other Minnesota towns shown in the series include noticeable mountainous terrain in the background scenery.

Nellie and Percival move to New York City to run Percival's family's store after the death of his father. Then Adam and Mary also move there when Adam takes a position at his late father's law firm. The blind school in Sleepy Eye has been taken under the control of the state, so Hester-Sue moves to Walnut Grove to help Caroline run the restaurant and hotel. Harriet becomes very depressed, and Doc Baker suggests she and Nels adopt, but it takes a visit from Cassandra to revive Harriet's spirits.

Season 1, Episode 17 – Doctor’s Lady

Of the 204 episodes, Michael Landon directed 87 episodes; producer William F. Claxton directed 68 episodes, while co-star Victor French helmed 18 episodes. Maury Dexter (who was often an assistant director) directed 21 episodes, and Leo Penn directed the remaining three episodes. After losing two previous pregnancies to miscarriage, Louisa is once again pregnant and desperately ill, with a cruel husband who hates children and only sees wives as someone to cook and clean. Caroline nurses her and sees loathingly to her husband Horace's basic needs until he threatens her with bodily harm after which she lashes back with a fire torch. Caroline responds to a plea for help from a childhood friend, Louisa Beckwith, by travelling with Doc Baker to a mining camp where there is an outbreak of influenza. With Caroline and Hester-Sue run off their feet at the restaurant, Harriet signs up with a franchise which promises greater efficiency and more profit, and the restaurant is renamed "Mrs. Sullivan's Kitchen".

When the circus comes to town, Nels discovers that his estranged obese sister, Annabelle, whom he was always ashamed of when they were kids, is the Fat Lady, and seeks to avoid anyone knowing this. When Annabelle visits the Blind School, Nels' shame is still apparent. Meanwhile, Laura becomes depressed when she goes to ask Almanzo to the circus, only to find out that he is already taking a rude, snobby and snooty young woman named Christie, for whom she has been mending a dress. When she delivers the dress five minutes late, Christie refuses to pay her the full amount.

Arngrim, 62, has written a best-selling book, "Confessions of a Prairie Bitch" (which is a must-read for "Little House" fans) and has turned the book into a one-woman show. These were not casual fans, but those with custom shirts ("In a world of Nellies, be a Laura") and wore bonnets and calico dresses. They carried books, posters, vintage lunch boxes and aprons to get autographed. Comedian Ray Ellin remembers watching Little House on the Prairie from an early age and being captivated by the Ingalls family adventures in Walnut Grove. His love of the American western drama only grew stronger as a teenager into adulthood when the series landed in syndication. Because of its historical context and its connection to the book series, it is deemed acceptable for use by the FCC to meet federal E/I programming guidelines.

As they search for her, the mystery rapist (revealed to be Hartwig) attacks both Sylvia and Albert, then is shot down by Mr. Webb. During the confrontation, Sylvia suffers a bad fall, and she later dies in the arms of a distraught, heartbroken Albert. When Percival's parents visit Walnut Grove for the birth of Nellie's baby, Percival reveals that his real name is Isaac Cohen, much to Harriet's consternation. Percival's father, Benjamin, is passionately and devoutly Jewish, which brings him into conflict with Harriet and her Christian beliefs, especially over the question of which religion the new baby will be raised in. Nels brokers a truce between Benjamin and Harriet with the suggestion that a boy should be raised in the Jewish faith and a girl should be raised as a Christian.

So he invites Laura to a church social and is taken aback when she says she'll think about it. Later he comes in while one of her students is showing her how flexible the rib cage is, and thinks that the student is kissing Laura. Almanzo punches the student out of jealousy then thinks he has no chance of Laura falling in love with him. Charles explains to Laura that Almanzo acted out of jealousy, which means that he is now returning her feelings for him. So Laura seeks him out at the church social, and they share their first kiss on her 16th birthday. When boxer Joe Kagan's career seems to be going nowhere, he chooses to continue boxing rather than keep his family with him.

To try and collect her debt, Mrs. Oleson immediately forecloses on the Ingalls farm. But the friends in town come up with a plan to help the Ingalls keep their property. They keep the auction of the Ingalls’ farm a secret and bid on everything themselves for pennies. Ellin turned this devotion into a weekly podcast Wild Nights on the Prairie with Ray Ellin.

The relationship of Eliza Jane and Harve seems to blossom, but when she tells him she loves him, he reveals he is in love with someone else. The loss of her dream incites Eliza Jane to strike out for a new life elsewhere and to bring Laura and Almanzo back together by allowing Laura to take the teaching job in Walnut Grove, along with the house which goes with it. Almanzo agrees, and he and Laura are married at the Blind School in Sleepy Eye, which happens to be the same day as Adam and Mary's anniversary. While out fishing, Laura finds a bottle in the creek with a note inside that reads "Be my friend." She eventually persuades Charles to help her look for the writer of the note, but instead they find an abandoned baby. Laura looks after the baby, whom she names Grace, while Charles tries to find the parents.

It all starts with the boldest cruise ships at sea — and ours have won awards for everything from world class dining and spectacular entertainment, to record-setting onboard thrills and groundbreaking innovation. While other around-the-world cruises typically spend a day or two at each port, the advantage of this much longer sailing is that it will dock for up to seven nights in some larger cities, like Shanghai and Singapore. The vessel will depart from Istanbul, Turkey, on November 1, 2023, before making additional stops (where passengers can also embark) in Barcelona and Miami.

THE MOST EXCITING CRUISE DESTINATIONS

And as a single woman, she had been looking forward to exploring the world with a group. "We are going to be following summer the entire time that we go around the world," then-Life at Sea CEO Kendra Holmes told prospective passengers in a Zoom webinar in September. Those customers are now scrambling to make new plans for where they will live for the next three years — and to extract refunds from the cruise line. The intense fallout is drawing comparisons to infamous debacles such as the Fyre Festival — the "luxury" music festival that was more like a "disaster relief area." According to CNN, some Life at Sea Cruises team members left the company in May as part of a dispute about the ship and other matters, which raised customer concerns. Now, Miray Cruises may have alleviated some of those with the purchase of an alternative ship.

Despite promised refunds, only a small portion of the money has been returned so far. Warning flags went up earlier this year, when the company changed course from its initial plan to refit one of its ships, the MV Gemini. For the lengthy worldwide voyage, it planned to deploy the larger "MV Lara" — a ship that never materialized. "Our residents are changing their lives for this opportunity, and we are honored to be a part of their personal journeys," Holmes said in June.

Yes, Villa Vie Residences, plans to sail the world in three and a half years, after purchasing a 924-passenger ship that is expected to launch in May. The MS Breamer ship will undergo a renovation that will begin early in 2024 and take roughly eight weeks to complete. During the cruise of the seven continents, the passengers would see the pyramids of Giza in Egypt, Machu Picchu in Peru, the Great Wall of China, Rio de Janeiro’s Christ the Redeemer statue, and India’s Taj Mahal. “Professionals need connectivity, the right amenities, and the functionality to perform their jobs. There is no other cruise product that offers this sort of flexibility to their customers,” says Mikael Petterson, managing director of Life at Sea Cruises.

World cruises usually begin in January and end in April or May, but some lines change it up with departures in other seasons, including summer and early winter. Cruise itineraries are still under development for 2025 and future years, so watch this space for more information as it becomes available. Over the last two years, its namesake Carnival Cruise Line brand has offloaded five of its eight classic Fantasy-class ships.

Soak up the sun, relax on the sand, and create memories to last a lifetime in the Caribbean and Central America. While the cruise is, at its core, a three-year getaway, the company realizes the need to stay connected with real life back on land, too. Remote workers can access free high-speed Wi-Fi and use the business center facilities. (Private office space is also available for rent for those who want to run their businesses from the ship.) Also, friends and families can visit by just paying the local port taxes and fees and staying in the cabins for free. Cruise ships typically use this code to signify that someone needs life-saving medical assistance. If accurate, the frequency of such alerts would suggest multiple medical emergencies during the cruise, although the nature and severity of these incidents remain unclear. It is also not the first time that a passenger has died on an Atlantis Events chartered cruise, with four such cases confirmed in recent years.

According to Cruise Law News, he may have left a suicide note before jumping into the water. Royal Caribbean did not immediately respond to a Post request for more information on the death. But the cruise line did confirm that a passenger died in a statement to People. For months, Royal Caribbean’s Ultimate World Cruise has captivated the public like a social media reality show, with reports on storms, coronavirus outbreaks, canceled port calls and interpersonal drama.

He added that “the rumor mill aboard the ship is saying that he took a fentanyl-laced ecstasy tablet that he purchased on board." Thursday night, Chris Wiggins, a freelance journalist who has written for USA Today, tweeted that he had confirmed a death of "at least one person" on the ship. The cruise line’s Serenade of the Seas ship is currently operating the 274-night sailing, which will visit more than 60 countries and marks Royal Caribbean’s first world cruise. Videos about the sailing proliferated on TikTok following its December departure from Miami, with guests sharing clips from their trip and other users recapping apparent “drama” a la reality TV. Cruise lines have protocols in case a passenger passes away during a sailing, and most of the biggest vessels have morgues where they can store bodies as needed, The Points Guy reported. As previously reported, in 2009 GLAAD board member Spencer Yu, a Los Angeles attorney, died of a heart attack allegedly due to drug use while on Royal Caribbean's Mariner of the Seas.

Previously, we reported on the death of another passenger aboard a Royal Caribbean – Atlantis cruise in October 2009. Spencer Yu, an attorney for Warner Brothers and a board member of the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation ("GLAAD"), died on the Mariner of the Seas. There is speculation that Mr. Yu, also a young man of  only 46 years, may have died of a drug overdose during the cruise. In 2010, a 37-year-old passenger aboard the Liberty of the Seas, chartered by Atlantis to the Cayman Islands, also died. At the time, local police issued a statement that there appeared to be "no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death."

Serenade of the Seas boasts 13 decks and 1,073 guest rooms, and it can accommodate over 2,100 guests. The itinerary that Atlantis Events posted to its website notes the ship was scheduled to arrive in San Juan, Puerto Rico, at 7 a.m. Storm Chasers was filmed each year in the area known as Tornado Alley due to the frequency and severity of tornadoes occurring there in the central part of the U.S. Several teams of storm chasers appeared in the series and Taylor joined the cast in early 2008 as part of the team from the website TornadoVideos.Net (TVN) that was led by Timmer. “We chased so many intense storms, and I wish we could have just one more storm chase. We lost a legend,” added Timmer, who attended the University of Oklahoma with Taylor, who studied meteorology.

While a representative said the death was "nothing out of the ordinary," they referred The Advocate to Royal Caribbean for comment on cause of death. According to CBS News reporter David Begnaud, who's been tweeting updates, surveillance video shows a "clean jump" by the man, who dropped 177 feet into the water while the ship was docked just off Puerto Rico's north shore in San Juan Bay. She shares videos updating followers about where the ship is in the world and seemingly trolls her followers with pineapple swag and signs. But she maintained that she and her husband are not swingers in one video. MDMA (also known as ecstasy) along with Zolpidem (a version of Ambien), ketamine (an anesthetic) and MDA (a psychedelic amphetamine) were found in his system at the time of his death, according to the report.

On Thursday, we received an email from a reader pointing the the Twitter/X account of James (Jim) Walker @CruiseLaw. One of his most recent posts claims that there was a death on board the Atlantis Events charter of the Oasis of the Seas. The publication "has confirmed the death with Atlantis Events. While a representative said the death was 'nothing out of the ordinary,' they referredThe Advocateto Royal Caribbean for comment on cause of death." "U.S. Coast Guard District Seven deployed multiple search and rescue assets in response to an agency assistance request from our partners in the Royal Bahamas Defence Force," said Lt. Commander Matthew Spado, Coast Guard liaison officer to the Bahamas. "Our Coast Guard command center and aircrews based in Miami supported RBDF search and rescue efforts since the initial report Wednesday evening, and continued through Friday evening."

The 274-night cruise — Royal Caribbean’s longest available — stops in 65 countries and the ship can hold up to 2,476 guests. “I was coming to my room when they were taking the body out so very, very sad for me because I was there to watch,” Adita said from her cabin inside the massive cruise ship. We will always remember him fondly as an incredible meteorologist and driver of ‘The Dominator.’ Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this difficult time,” the Discovery Channel said in a statement about Taylor’s passing. In the 2022 case, The Advocate reported a death aboard the Oasis of the Seas during Atlantis Events’ 30th Anniversary Cruise.

The ship crossed through Mexico, the Caribbean, Brazil, Peru and Ecuador on its South America leg in January. On Sunday, the Asia Pacific leg of the voyage began; the ship will pass through Hawaii, Polynesia and Australia. From there, it will continue to other major destinations, including South Korea, Japan, India, the United Arab Emirates and Greece. Details about the passenger and the circumstances of the death were not disclosed. The 160-destination voyage departed Miami on Dec. 10, 2023, and has traveled through multiple parts of the Americas, including Brazil, Argentina and Peru, on its first leg.

Cruise Law News, a blog that covers the cruise industry, reports at least five deaths in the past decade on Atlantis Events charters. The original video has been deleted but was reposted by another user on Sunday, though it was unclear when the passenger died. Larson was not immediately available for an interview and the Royal Caribbean spokesperson did not share any details about the passenger's identity. Multiple reports have stated that soon after the man jumped overboard, crew members collected guests at muster stations -- places on a ship where passengers assemble during emergencies -- to conduct a roll call in an effort to identify the man. "A guest sailing on board Serenade of the Seas has sadly passed away," a Royal Caribbean spokesperson said in a statement. A newspaper in the Cayman Islands is reporting that a 37 year old passenger aboard Royal Caribbean’s Liberty of the Seas died during an Atlantis sponsored cruise.
